The items examined in a typical home inspection include the exterior with decks and porches, the foundation, the roof which is inspected by walking on it if conditions permit, the attic, plumbing fixtures and supply, electrical outlets and supply, heating and air conditioning systems, built-in appliances, fireplaces and basement or crawl space.
The visual inspection culminates in a comprehensive, computer generated, checklist/narrative report with summary describing the condition of the items and systems inspected. Digital photographs are also included. Reports can be emailed the same day as the inspection, or snail-mailed the following day.
